Where Do You Work/Nosh?

As a work-at-home editor/writer/author coach, I tend to become a tad uncivilized and antisocial. As in, “How many days have I worn this sweatshirt?” Or I’ll catch myself asking the pup questions that are above her reading level and pay grade. One solution is to pack up a device and head to a local eatery/coffee shop and work “remotely.” (Here’s an article I wrote on a related topic – Coworking Spaces.)

Yes, it’s a bit cliche – we are easy to spot in the corner with our cappuccino and scone crumbs. But at least we left the house, right? Maybe put on real-people clothes? Good for us!

The photo above is from my new fave place, Beach Street Kitchen, in my newly adopted home of Yachats, OR. I celebrated finishing a recent project by treating myself to breakfast and a chai latte.
